Receiving Your New Prescription
Your Doctor/Prescriber has sent a prescription to Discovery Pharmacy for you.
Before preparing the prescription, we will consult with you to review and counsel you on the medication(s), address any potential questions, and discuss quantity, cost, and timeline for when the medication will be ready. The appointment can take place in-person or virtually (see below).
The consultation generally takes 7-10 minutes and is scheduled for 20 minutes to provide additional time for discussion, if necessary.
After the consultation, the pharmacy team will prepare your medications and notify you when completed. Once the medications are ready, you can book a convenient time to pick them up.
Virtual Consultations
Virtual Consultations are provided by phone or via secure video link through the PharmaConnect platform.
