At Discovery Pharmacy, your care team is dedicated to helping you better manage your health. In addition to filling your prescription, we are here to ensure that your prescribed medication therapy is safe and effective for you. You can book a 1-on-1 appointment with the pharmacist either virtually, over the phone or in-person. Youâll have the space to talk about your health goals and our team will make sure your medications are working just the way you need them to. If needed, we can also provide referrals to other services on campus or healthcare providers to support your overall well-being. Book an appointment today!

Schedule a virtual or in-person appointment with the pharmacist. Then submit your prescription online or in-person.

Collect your prescribed medications from the pharmacy.

During your appointment time, the pharmacist will get to know you, your health, and your medication needs. Bring any questions that you may have about your health and your medications. You can meet with the pharmacist:
Virtually
A virtual link will be sent to the email that you used when booking your appointment.
Phone
A member of our Care Team on duty will call you at the appointment time.
In-person
Arrive at Discovery Pharmacy at your scheduled appointment time. Click here for directions

Once you book your appointment, you will receive a text message with a link to upload your prescription online using TitanFile, a secure file sharing platform.

You will receive a text message notification when your medications are ready, along with information on where to pick them up, either at the lockers or in the pharmacy area. The message will also include a link to schedule a pick-up time.
You may be eligible to use our convenient lockers located in the reception area for picking up your prescription. These lockers are accesible during building hours, allowing you to retrieve your medications without having to visit the pharmacy desk. The text message will provide details instructions on how to obtain your medication from the lockers.

For medication coverage, please bring your supplementary health plan or drug coverage card from your employer. For patients with multiple plans (i.e. Graduate students who are Teaching Assistants, spouses that have coverage), please have all plan coverage cards available.
We accept most private and drug coverage plans.
University of Toronto Students are covered by Green Shield via the Supplementary Health Plan. Have your student number ready and identify that you are a graduate or undergraduate student.
For Exchange students, you may not have supplementary coverage for medications.
University of Toronto Employees are covered by Green Shield.
